Updated Path in 2.2 (10/21/2022)
Based on all the feedback, and thanks to the enlarged UI, many upgrade paths are refined in this update. Here is the change log:


1. The rank requirement have been thoroughly adjusted for all races. It is now easier to upgrade to tier 2, especially for infantry (which accumulate exp slower than archer / cavalry in auto-resolve).


2. Vampire Count and Dark-Elf background images replaced.


3. Major rework of unit card arrangement for several races (LZD, SKV, GRN, etc.).


4. New upgrade options for the following races (from WH lore or common sense do not forbid):

--- BRT: separated Yeomen cavalry into its own group.

--- DWF: added gyro and artillery upgrade; they can also be upgraded from quarrellers (This will be the only race to allow complete artillery upgrade).

--- HEF: more upgrade options for existing units; dragon and phoenix can now be upgraded.

--- DEF: darkshade can upgrade to shade; basic infantry can upgrade to corsair, then to har ganeth executioner; witch elf can upgrade to sister of slaughter.

--- WEF: bladesinger may upgrade to sister of thorn (well think they may be promoted by Ariel..)

--- SKV: detailed weapon team upgrade; from doomflayer to wheel.

--- GRN: more goblin upgrade options; upgrade trolls, squig, spider, and into Waaagh special version.

--- VMP: more options to upgrade wights, wraith, cart.

Minor changes to other races are not listed.

First off, great mod and thanks for making all of this!
I have some feedback on the Tombkings upgrade path(s.

The basic infantry path is a bit messy:
Skeleton Warriors and Spearmen should be side-grades since they are available in the same base building.
Same goes for Nehekara Warrior and Skeleton Archers.

There should be some way for Skeleton Horsemen to upgrade to Nehekara Horsemen.
The same goes for Nehekara warriors and Tomb Guards since in each case the lower tier version can't upgrade to the higher tier progression as of now.

Some monstrous units/constructs lack any kind of upgrades right now. I'm not sure what you're planning to do with those since it's somewhat harder to justify proper upgrades with the lore.
Some vague ideas there would be:
Khemrian Warsphinx and Necrosphinx being side-grades.
Bone Giant upgrading into Hierotitan
Screaming Skull Catapults upgrading to Casket of Souls
Sepulchral Stalkers being a side-grade for Tomb Scorpion

Either way, I'm sure you'll do a great job with the next update! Keep up the good work :D
not sure how lore friendly it would be but having a option to upgrade into black guard of naggarond for the dark elves would be nice but i understand the jump from dreadspears to black guard is kinda big

Those born-elite units are the most difficult to fit in...makes sense in gameplay, but some will be unhappy as it is against lore.

Some ambiguous ones are OK, like Phoenix guard / swordmaster of hoeth, they may be from any background.
after playing some skaven i would only recommend doom flayers into doom wheel

and allowing the Weapon teams to change into each other at some xp cost

and i asume clan rats cant become stormvermin cus different breed of rat
