Notes, Special Thanks, Etc.
*Here be dragons, or more specifically potentially out dated notes...still gotta find some time properly edit this too. Oh, except the thank you's, those will never be out dated.
Notes, Misc
  • COOP: coop should be good to go on this mod’s end, if still having desync issues with this mod; user reports suggest possible fix: Set Steam networking to “Friends Only” and try lowering your graphics a bit.
  • This mod includes MCT functionality. I've added a range of options that should hopefully help provide more of a level of customisation. You must reload your save file for any changes to take effect if you're in the middle of a campaign.
  • Save game compat. If seems like stuck on an older version, it's a sure thing you can try unsubbing and resubbing.
  • Change Notes
  • MCT setting recommendations: Overall I'd say just play around till find your sweet spot and leave it, imho messes with progression of a campaign to keep nit picking them. For context tho' my "sweet spot" is 2-3 provincial recruitment buff, -20% upkeep and -5% recruitment cost for the AI on hard/hard, rest of MCT settings I leave default unless testing. Campaigns get quite spicy, but not that "burning in my mouth for 3 hours afterwards" level of spicy. Perfect for me :D



Other mods, Compat Notes etc
  • Compatibility with other AI mods:
    The general rule of thumb: Pick one.That being said, I am an avid mod user too, and "I get it," lol, so, user beware/advanced users only, but here are my results from testing when asked in the past:
    Something like Hecleas AI Overhaul is db edits. Mods like it contain no scripts or modifications that could conflict with Organic.
    Something like Loreful Strategic Threat is both db edits and scripts, there both a db table and the scripts cause conflicts, so it is not compatible, hence our general rule of thumb.
  • Testing popular overhaul mods, values returned "SFO", "Radious":
    - Radious test; game, campaign loads, mct is functional, no detected compat issues in PJ launcher
    - SFO test; game, campaign loads, mct is functional, no detected compat issues in PJ launcher, should just stack with SFO settings
    *I don't play with these mods, so no clue as to long term compat during a campaign, but figured least do a load check cos' sure question come up
  • In general had no major conflicts with other mods. For example popular stuff like Mixer, OvN, Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords, Better Camera Mod, or Building Progression mods etc can confirm works with this.

  • Vandy for creating and working on the MCT, and many others from Da Modding Den on Discord for their sharing of tools, tutorials and generally great advice. Its collective knowledge sharing and amazing efforts produce things which inspire and enable people to try modding too, not to mention their patience in helping people actually learn how to do what we're looking to do lol
  • CJ3200 and their Campaign Configuration mod for WH2, absolutely no way I could have figured out issues with my script in first version without looking over what they did for that game/mod and the MCT. Btw, little bird told me, made one for 3 now too.
  • A lot of different modders like Hec, Anydel and GOW for making so many different types, flavours and styles of difficulty/balancing mods over the years which inspired me to make my own for 3.
  • You, for reading this, and especially if use this mod or comment to help me test it etc. Seriously, thank you for taking time out of your day, and play time, to give my mods a try, comment, help bug test(pleeeasseee for sake of my sanity use the proper forms in the discussions lolol) etc.
