Temporary Problem: Subscribing in Steam
Unfortunately, the integration with Steam Workshop is bugged at the moment. If you use a multiplayer module installed via Steam Workshop, the game may crash when you open the server browser. To avoid the problem, please just download the module from the site (http://www.mbmerc.com/, Installation Instructions). It's a full setup file and you shouldn't have any problems with it.

If you already encountered the bug, please download the setup file from the site, install the module and choose it in the launcher. Notice that the launcher may show you two modules with the same name “Mercenaries”. One of them was installed by Steam Workshop and you shouldn’t use it.

The bug was reported to TaleWorlds and I hope it to be fixed in the future. If you encountered the bug, please write about it in this discussion. I’ll send your feedback to TaleWorlds.

I think I ran into this bug but there isn't much to tell. It appears pretty consistent. It would list only a few servers and say it's pulling up a list of some 800 some odd servers. A hand full of seconds pass by before Windows says it's looking for a solution because the program has stopped working.

Thank you! I have reported this bug already and provided the game developers (TaleWorlds) with all the needed information.

To avoid the problem, please just download the module from the site.
When I try to join a server, the game crashes and Windows says that he can't find the module, I've already installed the launcer, but it doesn't work anyway

If the game crashes soon after opening the server browser, please just download the module from the site (http://www.mbmerc.com/, Installation instructions). If you download the module from the site, the bug shouldn't appear. It only appears when you use the version downloaded by Steam Workshop.

But if you already subscribed to Mercenaries in Steam Workshop, the launcher may show you two modules with the same name “Mercenaries”. One of them was installed by Steam Workshop and you shouldn’t use it.

Yes, you can download a ZIP archive there: http://www.moddb.com/mods/mbmerc/downloads/mercenaries-v1043-zip-archive
Just extract this "Mercenaries" folder to the "Modules" directory.

Homer  [developer] 4 Mar, 2016 @ 12:21pm
To avoid the problem, please just download the module from the site ( http://www.mbmerc.com/ , Installation Instructions). Notice that the launcher may show you two modules with the same name "Mercenaries". One of them was installed via Steam Workshop and you shouldn't use it. The module downloaded from the site will never crash in the server browser.
