FAQ ("Why am I getting an error?")
Q: Why is this mod not compiling? / Why am I getting an error? / Is this mod a virus/harmful content?

A: Please view the first mod image. You have to disable 'Reject Suspicious Mods' for the mod to compile. The reasoning for this is heavily explained in the image.

Q: I disabled the setting and I'm still getting an error?

A: Restart your game after disabling the setting. Also make sure you're not on the BETA branch, as that can cause issues (like errors) to occur.

Q: Does this mod work on the beta branch?

A: See the answer above. I managed to get it working once on the beta branch, but a lot of people report otherwise; so the answer is most likely no.

Q: I don't see any sprites / the characters are invisible

A: Make sure you disabled the setting mentioned on the mod page. Some people have been able to compile the mod without it being disabled; this leads to the mod being unable to fetch the paths to the sprites, resulting in them not being loaded.

Q: I installed this mod manually and don't see any sprites?

A: View the pinned discussion post titled 'Local Mod Installation.'

Q: Will you update this mod for the beta branch?

A: I plan on updating this mod once the next update is out of beta. For the most part, mods shouldn't have to be specifically dedicated and designed to fit the beta branch, but the new compiler in the beta has seemingly produced issues with a lot of mods.

Q: How do I install this locally without steam workshop?

A: Make sure the mod folder is titled "40k" lowercase, otherwise the mod will not function properly. The path should look like this: "$/People Playground/Mods/40k".

Workshop downloaders will [typically] automatically name the mod folder after the mod ID, so make sure you change the name to this otherwise the mod won't be able to fetch the directory and access files within. (This leads to invisible characters.)

If you're subscribing through the workshop you won't have to do this.

will you eventually import it to the beta version?

I'm waiting for the beta version to release onto the main branch. Once that time comes, (along with proper documentation on the new API's JSON support,) I'll likely be able to update this mod to no longer require you to disable "Reject Suspicious Mods."

The game just updated, i'm not on the beta, i've disabled the setting and i also tried local installing but no, i still get an error.

The error is; 'Object' was defined in an un referenced assembly.
You must add a reference in assembly PublicKeyToken=7b13ffcd2ddd51

There was a period of time where the new update had rendered this mod broken, but game updates have since restored its functionality, making it usable once more.

Did you disable reject suspicious mods? When that setting is enabled, the mod will produce errors of that nature and be unable to activate and function properly. (In some cases, you may have to restart your game after disabling the option.)
