Algol Syringes II seems to be incompatible, I created a new save without it and the server launched normally. :spiffo:

Awesome thank you for following up - I will look into this mod to see if I can ID the issue.

I got bit twice, did about 12 test kits that all came out negative. Ate, went to bed. Woke up sick as hell. Did another 4-6 tests, all negative. Took some zombie delay pills, went to bed. Woke up with a fever. Did another 4 tests, all negative. Took a high quality syrette, started cooking a steak, turned off the oven, died - immediately turned into a zombie. I think the virus was present. The syrette didn't help. Should I have taken it sooner?

I am playing with a whole bunch of mods so that's probably what broke it.

There are two possible things that happened here - One is that you have a mod in there that makes it were you may not have been infected by the bite. So if you were virus-negative somehow and sick with a fake infection, or food illness or something like that - the syrette may have killed you since the virus was not present.

More likely there is an incompatibility with other mods. If possible could you please give me the full list of mods you are using? There are some I want to verify compatibility with. In particular, please let me know if you are using Anti-bodies or any mods that modify the virus, such as the one that makes it airborne.

Thank you! And I am sorry you died before you got to eat your steak :(

The super immune trait from the More Traits mod interacts wierdly with this mod. Despite finding an antidote and using it (I confirmed with a test that the virus was gone), the trait still acted as if I was sick. So despite being cured at day 2, it is now day 12 and my character is constantly at terminal damage and shows all the symptoms of late stage virus.

I set everything to 0 besides packets in containers, that was set to 1. Loot reduction was set to 1 and the hardcore box was ticked, yet i was still finding tests and cures on zombies very often.

after replacing all 0's to 1, i have begun to find things significantly less. in around 80 zombies, i found about 4 pills and 2 cures. However i wish i could set it to 0 to prevent zombies from carrying such items.

Thank you for the info. I had been relying on 0's in sandbox input to zero out some of the chances for loot but PZ must look at that a bit different than I expected. For the next update I added an additional check that will disable additional entries if it sees a zero. This should fix the issue. I also added some additional reduction for the hardcore mode so people could play in hardcore but adjust the loot numbers and still have less loot. There are some other things I am looking at adjusting - so I will release all of these together in the next day or so.

Thank you!

I will look into this more. There looks like a bunch of logic on More Traits that is pullled from numbers in some of the variables I also used. Namely regarding fake infections. You may want to try disabling the setting "Can inconclusive viral tests cause fake infections?" on this mod. However, ALL successful viral tests will cure a fake infection - so that may also be what breaks it - if More Traits using fake infection to calculate things.

For example - More Traits seems to use the 'Fake Infection' variable to apply things like motion sickness to the player, even though that variable is for fake zombie infections. So some of that creative use may cause issues between these mods even without that setting.

I will post if I find any more issues about this.

Is this apart of the Sept. 11th update?

Is this apart of the Sept. 11th update?

Sept 11 was just a quick fix to Russian language encoding - I added additional hardcore checks on Sept 10 so they should live for ya if you update now. You may need to tinker with it a bit but essentially it removes a lot of entries if you had checked hardcore and it also removes entries if it spots a zero. Let me know what you find out using it - thanks!

ah okay, I had been doing a little bit of testing with solely this mod loaded so that i could get accurate results. For the settings for CDC, in order of top to bottom, it was
"0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 1, 1"
So the only ones that should have had any value above 0 would be relief packet loot chance in containers and all loot and container loot set to 1 with the hardcore mode box checked. I spawned 80 zombies and checked their pockets to see if the 0's had removed the loot from their pockets and i found

Antidotes: 2 KX9 spikes, 1 Globunex, 1 Novaulin, 1 Sovextin
Tests: 3 Positive test, 2 Bonger AG, 5 Pecker & Pecker
Treatment: 2 bitezapro, 5 fevarax, 1 humanox, 1 Viazom inhalent, 1 Zedalis, 1 Zomboflex
Papers: 12 cdc general guides
Packets: 1 cdc family packet, 1 cdc orange air drop, 1 red air drop

It seems that the 0's are not preventing loot from spawning on zombies. I have not been finding relief packets in containers so ill take that as it is working but I am still testing that one.

I have updated the settings to restore the chance for containers back to default (40) and after checking a couple pharmacies/hospitals and military zones i began to find packets so the loot containers are working fine. It is the zombie loot with values set to 0 that are still not working.

I will check on this later today. On first look I think your mod my not be running the latest version. That is because you should be seeing the drop of a new item which is called "Viral Test Result - Positive [+]" and should appear on zombies fairly commonly. So with all those drops you got but without the postive test sheets I think it may be an old version and needs updated. The CDC family was also removed from hardcore spawns before the 0 is looked at in the code, so it is odd that it is there.

Can you confirm you are running the latest? I will retest the drops later today when I have a moment. Thanks!

I can confirm i was running the latest version of the mod. Under the tests list i included that i had found 3 positive test results.
"Tests: 3 Positive test, 2 Bonger AG, 5 Pecker & Pecker"
Everything should be under the current mod update
I will do some more testing just to confirm that I was under the correct update soon.

Ok let me know what you find. I will take another look at this. I am wondering if the loot table doesn't update and only is adding additional loot factors to the pile. Could you try removing the mod from the save, loading without it, and then adding it again?
