Map continuation?
If this map has been discontinued I was wondering if I could continue it? I know a decent amount about hammer would editor (and the source engine in general) so it really wouldn't be too hard

I even have a couple maps planned that I'd love to get to work on as soon as possible

This discussion is to hopefully get the creator's attention so I can get an answer

No, I can easily decompile the map, however, I would like permission from the creator.

I don't want to rip someones hard work without permission.

You are adding on to it, not ripping it. Just credit the original author and map and take it down if the author requests to do it (which is extremely rare.)
