At the beginning of the game, you make your character and choose a region to begin. Then, you're introduced with the usual "you hear a blade rasping from its sheathe" dialogue.

I run out of spawn to meet the bandit head on. The bandit is wearing a robe with a katana, which is strange. I try to kill the bandit, and when I do, either of two things happen:
A) It spawns another version of my character on the Bandit's team and forces me to play as him whilst I slaughter my previous character and when my previous character is dead, it starts again.
B) "Rebel monks" slaughter me with guns and spears after I kill the bandit.

The cycle keeps repeating and repeating, even if I do kill all of them, it just spawns me in on the enemy team to finish off my previous character and start it anew.

It has made the mod unplayable. Literally.

If anyone has a fix that they could possibly tell me, I would be very grateful.
