Help, when I try to give out land all the names of my vassals are selected as FIEFS Because of this, I can’t understand to whom I am giving the land

HELP

I am currently serving under lord satomi and im fine working for him. I am trying to woo lady sana but her brother lork toki wont let me marry her unless i am a herditary vassal or possess land. is there any way to get land from great lord satomi, how do you become a vassal ?
