Swords?
It could be because I'm still slightly new at this mod, but the swords just don't seem to do as much damage as the yari/naginata. Is there anything other than the katana and tanto? Am I just a noob?

There are many swords, keep looking out. Especially in Northern and Western regions.

I think it would be the point for a katana to be weaker than the yari bow and the naganita...afterall, those were the main battlefield weapons of the time.

no dachi good weapon but the best weapon in game is tetsubo

well, yes I know that the katana should be weaker as it was more of a spiritual/ceremonial type of weapon, but swords were still useful in combat and could still hold up against most other weapons
