In short I asked leave of my Great Lord Hojo to sell crap. 1minute later he got captured, a second after that loads of text starting flying up the bottom left-hand corner of my map screen saying I had been released or something?

Now no messages come up at all.

I know when too many messages go at once it all vanishes until the amount of incoming messages dies down a bit, then it comes back (big ass battles) but this time it's not coming back. This is really annoying, as your information feed is completely cut off, for everything, battles, map, literally everything.

I'm not sure but I think the message is repeatedly being sent to me, so the message load thing doesn't clear enough to show me messages anymore. I think...

Exiting, re-entering doesn't work. All game files revalidate too. So, what now? Should I reinstall? Would rather not, would probably lose save game. New char? Same problem, would lose save game.
