81 Tiles 2

Does this mod fix natural disasters from the original mod?
Disasters with the original 81 tile mod can be quite buggy at times with the disaster infoview map bugging out when you buy enough tiles, the disaster infoview map not showing where the disaster will strike if said disaster is outside the 25 tiles, evac buses ignoring their route and driving around in circles, etc.

Good question, but since disasters are a low priority for testing (the focus being on enabling city building), we haven't tested that much to date, so I'll go with "no" as a safe default answer.

If you've got time to test and provide feedback, then that would be much appreciated!

Understandable as most people don't play with disasters and considering BP said it was not worth his time fixing I doubt that it was fixed with just some code refactoring.

Unfortunately I'm a bit busy right now and considering that some of the bugs can be finicky to get working I just don't have the time right now, but when I have time to open CS I'll be sure to get some testing done.

Alright I squeezed some time for testing and the flashing map issue has been fixedYeah no, however if a disaster occurs outside outside the 25 it does't show up on the infoview map, and the evac buses still have the mind of their own outside the 25 tiles.

I'll post a demoing the bus bug soon.

Also went though the log and fond the map flickering error:

It would be great to have disasters fixed in this

Well that explains why my info view stopped working and only flashes. Must have been after I unlocked all my tiles. I just stopped using the info view, as my disasters won't work at all without Natural Disasters since the game update. I guess I can live without the infoview, as long as my disasters still work, and they are working with this mod. Not sure about the evacuation buses going circular. Haven't closely observed the evacuations that closely , but the shelters do fill up when the emergency alarm is enabled. Not sure if any shelters outside 25 tiles have any problems. It would be nice to see the projected path before the actual impact.

From my testing the disaster infoview works just fine IF you don't build outside the 25 tiles (you can own 81 tiles and won't flicker until you build outside the 25 tiles) and the disaster occurs inside the 25 tile area (otherwise it doesn't show up)

Well I'm definitely outside of the 25 tiles. That's why I am using 81 Tiles 2. So I guess it is what it is, until someone has a fix.

disaster dlc has horrible gameplay.

@franzeusq and yet you have to have it's helicopters to put out park fires.

People complain that C:S is too easy expect they complain whenever there's a feature to help make it challenging.

Disaster support should now be implemented in version 0.9.8. Please test and let me know if any issues.

:slimehappy:However I've been having odd steam workshop download issues, however I'll try my best to test it.

One fight with SteamCMD later I do have to say nice work, you almost fixed everything except you might have broke the tsunami infoview as I couldn't get anything highlighted in the tsunami infoview. The tsunami is the only infoview that has this issue everything else worked perfectly.
