+ 15% faster spin up time
- this weapon holsters and deploys 25% slower
- -20% damage penalty
- no random critical hits
Stat Suggestion:
Pros:
- 35% faster spin up time
- Damage from any weapon charges a curse meter which requires 300 damage to fill. Once full, the user can press the alternative fire button to activate the curse which forces the user to stay revved up for the duration of the effect, but grants the user incendiary rounds and a 10% percent damage increase. Effect lasts four seconds (User does not suffer any health drain effects while in the cursed rev)
Cons:
- User can't rev minigun normally.
- User suffers a Gloves of Running Urgently style health drain at 8% per second while the weapon is deployed.
I suggest these stats due to the fact that heavy is due to have a form of damage meter effect item since he is the class that can pump out the most damage per second whilst still being vulnerable in many respects. Furthermore, adding this item would make the "chaser heavy" and "fat scout" subclasses actually a force to be reckoned with as the damage from a shotgun or gloves would charge the meter quickly and let aggressive heavies be rewarded with an incendiary volley of bullets fired from their minigun.
-30% Damage penalty
+25% faster firing speed
-50% healing from medics
20% Slower movement speed while deployed
[When dealing Damage, Heal teammates = 45% of damage done Within a Radius Around the heavy while deployed
Level ??? Minigun
Pros
On kill: A Pumpkin Bomb is dropped where the target died
+25 health restored on kill
Cons
50% less max primary ammo capacity on wearer
15% slower firing speed
When the wearer dies the Pumpkin Bombs that were dropped are destroyed
i was thinking the same with incendiary rounds but they show up after revving for a certain time and the after burn builds with the rev as well, however you take like 25-30% more damage while revved.
naturally with overt halloween weapons like these releasing pumpkin bomb/s, farmageddon scarecrow, bats or some other evil upon the corpse or you is a pretty standard thing to think about. Heavy would benefit from the chaos especially in 1(2)v1s but not too much I think.
A cooler unique idea would be that when killing a person near the gun, the spinning barrel will suck up the corpse and itll get eaten by the pumpkin. Could play with it more and have a vacuum suck up people from further away, or killing making the vacuum stronger.
If you've played metal slug 3 and killed snails with the drill, think that.
This is basically a cooler version of spawning something near you when you kill a dude.
Lastly, on death, martyrdom. The weapon explodes as all pumpkins ought to, sucker up stat. like 10% extra damage when targeting same ♥♥♥♥ with the sentry on the widowmaker.
