If you set it up right, you can get either the VScript or Sourcemod version working for multiplayer.
Both versions of this mod work similarly; they just spawn an entity that gets networked to other players.
This means Official Dedicated, Best Available Dedicated, and Steam Group Server lobby options won't work.
Your method:
1.) Derives everyone from using any custom weapons nor survivors.
2.) Animations won't be any close to even this mod's movements.
3.) Is devoid of any polish.
Every single Valve server is vanilla and is as official as possible. You're literally entering one with nothing but cosmetic mods that do not alter the gameplay in any way, shape, or form. And while modifying gun animations to include the legs seem like a sufficient idea, they will never be in the same "quality" as this mod or L4D1's - not to mention how tedious they'll be given the amount of compiling you have to do.
