So, this isn't a bug. You would overheat and begin to drench your clothing (from sweating due to the overheating) using the vanilla Firefighter outfit just the same, in a similar time frame as well
Which is relatively realistic by the way. Think about it this way:
Default spawn month in PZ is July. July is hottest month of the year for not just Kentucky (and Louieville specifically) - but for all of the continental United States, and Alaska too.
If you were in Kentucky in July, rolling around donning a full-cover body suit, full helmet /w visor engaged, backpack on, walking/jogging/sprinting, looting, and swinging melee weapons and all that, it would take exceptionally little time to thoroughly saturate your gear in sweat.
This would of course be uncomfortable, but worse still, it would make your clothes heavier and more strenuous to move about and function in, adding to the already considerable strain of exertion the body would be under in such a scenario.
At this point, you'd also likely be developing early heat emergency symptoms in the form of heat cramps.
By that time things already aren't looking great.
It wouldn't be long at before you would see the onset of heat exhaustion symptoms.
Heat exhaustion on it's own merits is a potentially dangerous and debilitating state to find yourself in, enough so that steps must be taken to hydrate and lower body temperature, necessarily requiring at the very least a significant reduction of or (more ideally) total cessation of physical activity, as well as removing articles of clothing that might prevent your body from cooling down internally.
At the point of heat exhaustion, things have already become somewhat dire, however...
If the aforementioned heat exhaustion wasn't addressed adequately though, you would most certainly end up suffering from full-blown heat stroke, a condition that is life-threatening if steps are not immediately taken to treat, and with the proper level of care and follow-up.
My suggestion - assuming you'd prefer not to simply compromise with less insulated clothing or simply less clothing overall until the weather cools off - would be to just start your games in a cooler month.
If you'd prefer not to do that, you could also consider modifying the insulation values of the clothing pieces manually to suit your own purposes. This isn't all that difficult to do I would imagine. Probably just modifying some LUA files or something of that nature. There are definitely guides out there that would teach you how, and there's also several PZ Modding-oriented Discord communities you could consult for help as well.
Yeah, but the ODST armor was heat regulated. It's even mentioned in the game lore. Their gear is literally one step down from a Spartan....It wouldn't make sense to send soldiers out to fight in clothing and armor that would give them heat stroke 30min into their mission....
