Hi, great job with this mod. There is another one: "Soul Filcher's Building Time" covering similar area. Is it possible to make your mod compatibile with it?

I have some suggestions:

  • The metal crate should be bumped up to metalworking eight.
  • The big locker should be replaced with location_military_generic_01_* to match the theme of the small locker.
  • The big locker should be bumped down to metalworking six.
  • Every metal storage but shelves should be bumped down one metalworking level.

Would there be any way to add large metal shelves to the metalworking menu? I want to have some for a storage room but going out and finding and dragging back some instead of just being able to MAKE them is,,, tiresome

I'll have a look into adding Metal Shelves into the menu. Shouldn't be too much to add this in.

@InFearnO, I haven't used or tested Soul Filcher's Building Time. Please can you explain what you want to be compatible? It may also not be possible if we both modify the same files.

MASONRY
-Added Mansonry as a new skill, it can be used to build strong walls, fences, door frames or window frames.
-Masonry uses concrete and bricks, the menu requires a Mason's Trowel to show up.
-Find the masonry books and read them for bonus XP multiplier.

CARPENTRY
-Added the option to craft painted crates (they look better than the simple color overlay when you paint existing crates).
-Added vegatables/fruits display counter.

METALWORKING
-Added door frame and stairs.
-Metalworker profession knows how to build these.
-New magazine teaches how to build metal stairs.
-New magazine teaches how to build antique ovens.

REPAIRS
-Added the option to repair damaged doors, walls and broken windows.
-Repairing these require some of the materials used to craft them.
-I'm still improving this system, right now it does not check if a door or wall is made of wood or metal for example.

As far as I know - you can't have two mods that modify build menu. Also he added concrete floor. I want to have stairs in metalwork menu.
Also there is mod of Soul Fincher - Blacksmith. I think it must change those files that you've mentioned (blacksmith)

Edit: Anyway I'll just check it if it works and report if something is wrong.

I guess this mod overrides somethings, no errors so far but some buildables are missing ( Jail door, jail walls, military locker etc. )

@Bathorgh, what exactly do you want making compatible here? It would probably be easier to add in the options myself rather than try to add parts from another mod.

Issue is both mods using the vanilla build tabs carpentry/metalwork and when yours and this mod enabled, changes on build menu you did turns back to vanilla order and some of the build options your mod have are gets removed from build menus but the other mod works fine. Idk maybe it's not your mod but other mod should be adapted to your mod. :lunar2019deadpanpig:
