Medic AI not healing each other and us with ACE medical

Currently have the medical settings to just about as basic as you can get with ACE and have noticed that the AI won't do anything beyond bandaging themselves - no helping each other or us. Is there a specific setting that I'm missing to enable them to do this? I have the Medic AI parameter enabled in the start up.
