It's not about difficulty, but simply put, that's outside the scope of this mod and I generally don't add features "just in case", so I disagree that it would be "lacking", more like.. it's probably not the right mod for what you want :)

The purpose of this mod is to create 3d music in a specific location (a tavern / camp / etc.). I am aware that server admins sometimes try to "misuse" this as some form of ambient background music generator for a large custom areas - that's simply not what it was designed for.

That being said, I might eventually add some option like that if a lot of people request it.. we'll see, for now though, no promises.

I see, I'm having trouble locating any other mod that allows for custom music outside of Pippi, (Which is enormous) and to be quite honest, we all think yours is great. I'm not one to start campaigns to try to influence mods, so all I can do is say please. I use it to set particular atmospheres here and there, not as an in-world to-be-heard thing, but occasionally it can add just the right touch of emotion to a scene, not a large scene, mind you, even just room-sized. The right sting in the right place when you uncover a secret wall and step into a tomb with something foreboding, or a somber ambiance for a funeral, or even just a RPR pvp contest in a little sparring ring. If this is something you're opposed to adding in as a feature, would you know of any mods that do support such a thing? Again, I'm completely outside of my own breadth here, so I'll have to defer to you on that. I'm just looking for a solution. As it stands, simply moving my camera 180 degrees is enough to nearly silence a music barrel with directional audio.
