This doesn't even make sense..
It's like the community only cares about looks
This looks like tron, not a spray painted battle-worn gun.

Cs:Go's weapon skins where meant to be realistic
Not some tron mode random weapons that dont even fit in the game

Hi Joy, Thanks for the comment, I appreciate this type of design is not for everyone (but that's the joy of skins you get to pick what you like) as for the style its based on an anodised paint like this...

Even normal metalic paint can give you the effect of bright blue areas when in direct light...

The design is not intended to look like self lit glowing lines but rather shiny anodised/metallic paint that when catches the light becomes bright.

The base is a more polished shiny metal but with some skills (and a lot of time) you could mask and spray paint a design like this and in theory get similar results.

Thank you for the mature reply, I understand this now.
I'll keep up this thread for anyone who had the same idea as me
Thanks.

Valve can make billion spray-painted camo guns, it doesn't take any creativity so it don't need workshop for it.

Might as well join this nerd war. Why does it matter if it looks "futuristic"? If people like it, they like it. Why does everything have to be a political discussion? If you don't like it, just ignore it, stop crying, damn people.

If CSGO's skins are meant be realistic, then the game would have hardly any skins at all lol

Yes, which is why one of the skins from one of the original, non-community made cases is of orange comics on a sniper and another is of colorful cartoon kitten skulls. And we can't forget those totally realistic completely valve made attachments that count your kills (and your kills alone as they fail when in another's hands). People don't like realistic skins and neither does valve.

What the hell are you talking about? "Cs:Go skins are supposed to be realisitic"? Look at redline... Look at asiimov! They are the best skins (In my opinion) Asiimov is the best skin to go for. but wait, hmm, not really realistic! Who cares! Valve never said "It has to look realistic". How about... you make a realistic skin and let us see if that gets chosen to be in next case :D
The duel Berettas retribution got chosen. But that was different, those looked awesome.
