Seemed like a genuinely great map, until...
I was playing this map and it was amazing, until I got to the part where I chased the combine to get the crack for Obama. When I tried to pick the crack up, the game immediately crashed and send me back to Steam VR. When I reopened the game, the save for the game had started at the beginning of part 2 and had no other load slots. Also, it reverted my addon choices after the crash (such as enabling the map itself). Was absolutely amazing up until then, but it ruined it. Can't be bothered to get that half an hour's worth of progress back.

EDIT: Replayed the map, crashed at the exact same part. Unsure what to do.

same things happening to me no fixes have helped im gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling the mod later

3080 Ti, 48GB ram, Ryzen 9 5950X, computer absolutely does not need improving, the mod is simply broken.

well it works for the other 5,401 people also specify the crash through console or something

A little bit late but although this hasn't happened to me while I was playing the mod, Half-Life Alyx did crash SteamVR for me a LOT of times during my playthrough of the campaign, mainly when my computer didn't have enough resources available for it. So make sure you close all of the other applications (SPECIALLY your browser) before you play the game.

haven't played it yet, but i do have to say the phrase "chase the combine for obamas crack" is more threatening than it should be
