STATS SUGGESTION THREAD
Now because it's a soldier-only weapon, I want it to have upsides that will help soldier the most:

:) on kill - primary clip is fully reloaded
:( -20% firing speed

Basically, it's a shotgun that you will use when you run out of rockers, acting as a backup plan. Killing an enemy makes your primary weapon available instantly, but the firing speed is slower, prompting you to aim and dodge better.

Those stats seem pretty good, I was also thinking of slower fire rate when I saw this. Though fully reloaded might potentially be too good

+Clip size increased on kill
- 20% clip size
-no random crits
umm can you change the model it looks too much like a shotgun and doesnt stand out which is a problem when you try to see whats the enemy using

what about a sort of reverse reserve shooter that mini-crits while you're airborne?

That would be way too easy to abuse by holding space. Maybe while rocket jumping would be reasonable, but shotguns have a short range and you should be using the market gardener at that point.

Good point, Counter argument

The Close Encounter
Level 20 Shotgun
Slot: Secondary

+ Deals crits while the wielder is rocket jumping.
+ 75% more accurate.
+ 20% faster weapon switch-to speed.
+ 15% faster weapon switch-from speed.
+ 55% bullets per shot.
- 15% damage penalty.
- No random crits
fires slug shells that act like a very fast projectile

+25% damage (based on meatshot so 100)
20%slower fire speed

mini-crits whilst the user is out of primary ammo(or rocket jumper)

weapon is affected by damage falloff at a further range (no dmg falloff at mid range but it begins at long range)
