As for editing slider limits, make sure you have admin access to see the buttons. If it is a multiplayer server, you don't want any other players to mess with the limits since it will affect everyone.
Keep the bug reports coming. Thank you.
This essentially gives them 3 layers to play with, face, body and hands layers. Then they make their own rules to which indices are for which layers. This of course made a mess when other mods access warpaints. Thus, you can imagine how out of control it will get when more modders does this. Without foreknowledge of what future modders will do, I cannot predetermine and allocate indices for it, I can only present what Funcom intended.
The same goes for eyebrows, lips makeup, and eyeshadows. Except each of these has 1 distinct color index.
Yes, each color has an alpha channel for opacity. When you make adjustment to this channel, it makes the color lighter until it disappears at 0. But why not just select a lighter color? And if you want it to disappear just select no warpaint from the slider (1st index of the slider).
This mod will now 'reapply' visual changes for warpaint akin to that of an equipment. Setting all warpaint sliders to the 1st index, which is no warpaints, will remove this.
Can you give me some pointers on how to try to edit the file to make it readable again? Thanks.
Profiles are saved in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\SaveGames\IdeaPoet_EdAp_Profiles.sav
It is a binary file serialized by UE4 and not editable in text editor nor hex editor. It is usually still usable after game crashes because the only time the file is altered is when you save a profile. Did your game crash while saving a profile? Unfortunately there isn't a way to edit this file. You may backup the file if you don't want to lose it.
Can someone smarter than me please help me understand why this happens?
i'm having a problem between your mod and Complete Thrall Fashion. when i edit a thrall with your mod the Complete Thrall Fashion mod no longer works for that thrall. i'm unable to click the check boxes to switch between armors with Complete Thrall Fashion mod
As for the issue you are having, that is how it is suppose to work. If you don't want to have appearance overridden, just un-check the check box for the corresponding armor type (In Appearance Edit). The purpose of the armor appearance override is armor appearance override. - So that you can wear whatever you want and still look however you want.
If Complete Thrall Fashion (I have no experience with it) does that too then you'll have to decide which mod's check boxes to un-tick.
