Consistent crashes around 1860s
The game consistently almost never fails to crash during the late 1850s - early 1860's. Can this be fixed? It's incredibly inconvenient, time wasting, and wastes like 2-3 hours.

I've been having this issue too

Suddenly I have the same problem - the game crashes around 1860-1880. Although many other mods have been installed (including Morgenrote and Grey's), before that I used the same set with UBF. The game crashed the same way until I deleted it.

I think it's all about integrating UBF into VFM. But I don't know if it causes a breakdown on its own or due to a combination with Morgenrote

@Escaping Dont use these other mods with VFM.

@stjern, could you be more specific about which mods to avoid?

Escaping lists Unofficial Bug Fix, Morgenrote, and Grey's reworks. Are you saying all 3 of these?

Doesn't matter if other mods are enabled or not. I have been playing with no mods but this one and it still kept crashing in the 60s and even more frequently in the 70s.

I only use this mod and still get consistent CTDs between 1861 and 1872, even with tags that haven't been reworked. It may be connected to something creating a notification, like an event, since I seem to see one pop in just half a second before the crash. The crash also seems to be tied to a specific date in a specific playthrough, regardless of tag, even though it is different between playthroughs. This also makes me believe it is tied to an event or technology.
with me too, but i belive it is because there are no pops in hungarian states
