These mods will make Revelations floors straight up not work.

Big mods (Transparent/black sprites)

Recently, a limit of the Isaac engine was discovered when too many mods are enabled at once (especially big ones), leading to sprites being replaced by black squares or becoming transparent after some gameplay. The specific limit isn't known yet, and it doesn't depend on the machine's performance.

If you get this bug, first try changing the setting "Clear cache every" to "every room" instead of "every level" in the Rev settings. If it doesn't help, try removing some mods and trying again. We and other modders are trying to find a solution at the moment. We still recommend playing with Fiend Folio and other mods if possible, but this limit is hard to work around.

Minor incompatibilities

Enchanced Boss Bars won't interact well with Rev bosses.

Minimap mods

As Revelations includes MinimapAPI, it is not compatible with most minimap-affecting mods. You can try to use a mod that changes the minimap, but it won't be supported.

Good Trip also won't work, but MinimapAPI includes a similar functionality that can be enabled either via the C-menu (DSS) or via Mod Config Menu if you have it installed.

The standalone version of MinimapAPI is compatible, and is recommended to have for a faster update cycle.

Music Mod Callback

Music Mod Callback (and dependent mods) aren't fully compatible with StageAPI. You can try to use them, but a lot of music triggers won't work.

Music replacing mods (like Excelsior) are supported, just their MMC functionality, if they have any, won't work well.

I fixed Heaven's Call issue yesterday, It works fine now, the Astral Challenge Room can even spawn in both Glacier and Tomb
can u do enchanced boss bars work?

Yeah that's fixed now, as is Tainted Treasure Rooms. Although, those rooms spawn with a Dice Room Door rather than their own doors, probably due to the way they work.

Yes, I know that, but that's low priority fix right now that I'm kinda busy with other things.

after some testing, it seems the game crashes when I enable fiend folio with this one
I can't use FF either, but i've seen a lot of other people using it fine, i wonder why it crashes for som ppl.
Crashes when I enable Epiphany.

Andromeda's broken planetarium sounds... interesting... when you enter it on the glacier or tomb.
Prong seems to be the most affected when it comes him appearing as black squares
Is there anyway to disable minimap api? This mod would be more fun without it for me:steamsad:

yes
it's incompatible with Deliverance... I finally figured out.
On Steam deck I get an issue that I also get with the Job mod. Everything on screen after starting a run is all black, except for Planetarium chance. Thus might be completely incompatible with Steam deck, unless there's a workaround.
