S.A.P Bots | Adaptive Friends

My experience with S.A.P.
In my experience, this has to be the dullest bot meant to recreate multiplayer ever.
To begin, the lack of settings and customizability is inevitably draining.
Enabling all the settings that would normally lead to a better and more realistic experience would barely change the bots at all.
Of course, you can randomize the player models, voices, and ofc personalities, however, that seems to be the limit and the effects of these settings are very underwhelming.
All the personalities act the same, with them walking around spouting random off-topic nonsense into the chat via text and voice, so nothing really changes with that.
Allowing them to have unique player models won't really do much either as it's basically a 1/3 chance of you seeing a bot without a hl2 player model.
There are too only three voices you can choose from, though you can look on the workshop to find custom-made voices.
Never ONCE in my game including these bots have I seen them carry ANY form of weapon.
I spawned 20 at once, waited, and the closest I've seen was a skeleton man carrying an invisible weapon like a pistol and not even using it.
They also don't react to being shot, they just walk around talking.
2 other things that really tickle my pickle is that it's obvious they are bots.
I like to play with bots and act like they aren't bots like they're actually human.
Sap Bots have text above their name when they talk, a robotic face above their heads, and when making your cursor hover over one, it doesn't say the name been selected to represent them, instead, they all say "S.A.P Bot".
That's only 1/2 icks, the other one is that they don't respawn.
Once killed, they die forever and no trace of their existence is left after death.
In chat, it even says "S.A.P Bot was killed by (Your name)" which is just plain ignorance.
This means you can't even really play with them for as if they glitch into a state where the game thinks an object is falling onto them and they get damaged multiple times until they die, you have to spawn a completely different version of that bot, different hl2 model, 2/3 chance it has a different voice, and different name (As if the name system has a use at all)
In conclusion, this addon says the bot replicates a multiplayer experience, but instead it's a generic re-skin of a citizen with a random model and the ability to talk in chat.
If you truly want a bot that can actually replicate the Multiplayer experience, then check out Zeta Bots.
Zeta Bots are fully customizable, with them having another respawnable version, the ability to have 5-10+ voices, they can too noclip, they actually use the weapons in gmod, they react to being attacked, they use voice chat, they use the in-game chat you have to type in, custom player models (including modded models), they can also spawn in props, some Zetas can also spawn as admins (ability to use admin tools) and as your friends or friends as other Zetas (Meaning that they will kill whoever killed you)
Zetas are much more interactive and more realistic and just an overall better choice.

2 years later - i added some more settings you may like.
and also, Sap bots were never meant to be a replacement for multiplayer,
unlike the other mods out there like this- this one is designed to be able to run in multiplayer.
these are meant to be an AI experiment or fun bot to mess around with 'n feel like its another being, compared to just a chaotic spam of sound effects or spawning of props with no reason, these guys have that "reason" to their logic, they have depth to their choices
