Colonization ruined with new update, unsubbed until something is changed.
I'm losing my mind trying to figure out how this new colonization mechanic is supposed to work. I choose where to colonize through the journal tab, and then what? Wait until it's magically colonized? I can't find anything that indicates any progress being made, which is pointless if I have to plan out my colonization.

-be America
-colonize Pawnee and Sioux nations
-they rise up in rebellion
-crush them
-colony administration is still at 2, full capacity, with no way to cancel
-?????????

The mechanic itself is unhelpful. I prefer the old system. I would roll back the update if I could. But until then, I'm just going to leave this mod alone, which is an immense disappointment to me.

Agree!!!
I would like to have a button on new colonization mechanic active/inactive button (on game law) so we can choose if we can use vanilla or modđe colonization mechanic

Be patient. Join the discord and discuss the issues you have, and there's a good chance they could be resolved.

I agree

Same for me. I meet all tech requirements, declare intrest in region, have colonial affairs level 2 and exploit colonies law. Still says "We do not produce any colonial growth" It worked fine before latest update.

Just FYI Devs - I understand "patience" as a requirement as a modder, and a fan of modding. However, I also advise patience in turn - be patient and test features properly before releasing and breaking core game components.

I can assure you that the colonization mechanic, is not "breaking core game components". And with all due respect the amount of time, that it took to create and add all these new mechanics is time consuming, and requires patience. It's not done haphazardly.

Tell that to my campaign!

Not only that, but it just ruins the America campaign. For some reason, Mexico just doesn't integrate its Natives yet still have it 'majorly colonized' for infinity. Which means when I complete the Mexican-American War, I have these Natives I cant integrate and it prevents me from finishing the Manifest Destiny missions. This is why I use a mod to remove the native nations. Its dumb
That's a bug that was fixed in our dev version. Will be out to all of you in 1.6.4, patience.

In our dev version, we added a "check colonization progress" mechanic that will be out for all of you in 1.6.4

that's unfortunately not possible. Vanilla and new colonization systems cannot coexist, a game rule isn't possible either.

This was fixed already, the colonial capacity now is correctly recalculated. More to enhance the new colonization system in future updates.

Unable to find 'Establish Colonial Base' anywhere in the diplomatic lens (neither as a play or an action). Everything else related to colonisation added by the mod is in working order. Is this likely a glitch on my end or an issue with the mod?

btw i started as Russia released Ukraine and then created the Intermarium Empire but the colonisation options did not even show up ? i literally forced it to lvl 4 and had all the techs and i did not even get the chance to colonize :D

So now i started a new Game as German have 5 colonial Administrations. But the only thing i can do is get colonial ports. Even after the Berlin Converence for some reason the game does not realize it is done. So the colonization is impossible i only can hope that the countrys get angry and rise up :D
