Crash when putting items in wrist pocket

I am currently getting a repeatable crash whenever I try to put items in my wrist pockets. I completed an early area with health syringes in both wrist pockets. Upon entering the next area, they were gone and now any items that I try to put in my wrist pockets, instantly crashes the game.

I'm getting the same crash, also when I try to hold a item in the left hand and switch it to the right
