How to win a rebellion

Topic says all ... i joined a rebellion to become the new king of my battanians. The rebellion startet, i defeated Caladog and executed him after the battle ^^ But they just voted for a new king without asking me and my clan is still "grey"... btw i gave him the draggon banner at the start, hope this wasnt a mistake ^^

I created a abdication faction same as you. Assembled the banner but instead of giving the banner to him, during the rebellion I executed caladog and they chose another ruller. I conquered every battanian land and nothing has changed -_-
