has any thought about how engineer will function been considered? i know terraria has minions and sentry caps independent of each other. I wonder would the TF2 sentry be a minion if so would it be able to move? i think if they could they should only be able to move on minecart tracks.

a part of me thinks that they should immobile minions that level up after getting a certain amount of kills going from lvl 1 up to lvl 3 with the mini sentry as the pre hardmode version that can't level up.

For the dispenser it buff combo item made from a heart lantern, bucket of honey, campfire, star in a bottle, bewitching table, crystal ball, ammo box, and sharpening stone so that being in the AOE gives you the healing buffs and right clicking gives the boost station buffs. i think this provides a nice QOL and decluttering solution while making sure it has a use.


For teleporters you could consider adding it as a pylon variation with a potential resource fee for useage. if you added the eureka effect you could allow it to teleport to any teleporter without being near the entrance teleporter or to go to spawn. A simple reskin of the already existing teleporter pads is just as valid.

one last thing to consider is a minecart mount that looks like payload cart. could give significant impact damage and a AOE heal effect/chance for no ammo/mana useage.

a part of me wants to see the payload cart explode when it hits something but that may not be the most viable transport method.

The payload cart is a planned minicart, it’ll be slow but speed up with nearby teammates, then I plan to have a special track that blows it up! I like these suggestions, I’ll see what I can do :>
alright i know engineer is planned at some point but not yet a priority. best of luck with whatever you choose to implement

a simple suggestion : make some of these weapon support vanila items, and also making the invis watch (aka spys cloak) count as a sort of stealth for rangers, aka it interacts with vanilla ranged.

If you mean doing ranged/melee damage, I have that planned for the playthrough mode, but the reason they don’t deal ranged or melee damage now is I didn’t want stats interfering with the damage numbers for pvp (ex: grenade launcher dealing more or less than 100)
is the phlogistinser in the mod
