BORGIN SND BURKES

Moving books: You’ll see a shelf with moving books. Wait until certain books come forward and line up with the white lines. Do simple math to solve. The answer is 566. Put that into the small chest on the bottom shelf. You will get a wand.

Cabinet: You will see a large cabinet in the corner of the store with a 5 digit lock. First solve the chest puzzle and get the magical item sheets. Then take a read at the sheet about the cabinet. It talks about a master code if you forgot the code. Look at the other magical item cards to find numbers in the top left. Follow the instructions to get the code 71529. After entering the code place your wand on the side to unlock it. It will unlock the cabinet and you can step inside. If you have multiple people make sure everyone is inside. Then use the wand on the door handle once both doors are closed and you will be transported to another cabinet but this time in a big room with fire and a bunch of crates.

Chalkboard:

Newspaper: click on the front door to the store to get the newspaper.

Posters: use your wand on all the posters around the store to complete the task. There is one upstairs too. You will here a jingle when you complete it.

Spiderwebs: use your wand to clear all the spiderwebs in the store to complete the task. There is one upstairs too. You will here a jingle when it’s complete.

Tricky Chest: There is a chest where if you get too close it closes. Grab the skeleton hand sticking out of the book near the stairs and stick it the chest so the hand props the lid open. Grab the 6 products from inside and the note included. After reading the note you can deduce where all 6 items go. (Facing the stairs), the left-most shelf has goblet on top and jug on bottom. Middle is spider on top, globe on bottom. For right it is skull on top and hat on bottom. After you place them you’ll hear a jingle and the chest on the center shelf will open. You’ll get 3 magical item cards.

Drought of Living Death: After unlocking the vanishing cabinet, getting past the time turner and unlocking the fog crate, you can place the H.D.C paper piece on the template, enter the code, and retrieve the instructional potion tickets. Go back to the store and place the draught of living death ticket into the chalkboard to make the cauldron appear with liquid. Follow the instructions on the board by placing the potions from the room of requirement into the cauldron and mixing the cauldron. After completing it you will here a jingle and it will be completed

Educational Decrees: Go to the wall with all the decrees and reorganize them. To do this, equip the spectrespecs near the register and look into the empty cases on the wall. Put the proper decrees in the right cases based off of either a word in the decree, (center 4 are words). Then you will see 4 shapes. Look around the room for small golden glass boxes on the walls or floors. Once you enable the glasses you’ll see the glass on the boxes disappear and you will see shapes and numbers. Place the decree with the shape and the corresponding number on the decree. It will unlock and make a jingle sound. It will also make a string appear saying “BROOM SERVICE”. Click it to make a broom appear and clean up a note on the ground. Pick it up and save it for later.

Halloween decor: For most of these items you can find them in the room of requirement,(fire room). Just look around hard, low and high. You can find all the pumpkins, gravestones and the scarecrow without solving a puzzle. To get the others here’s a list: Mushrooms: 2 in the room of requirement; 1 in the multi-drawer drawer and 1 in the bottom shelf of the shelf in the gate area. 3 in the “Skele-Grow” shelf once you place the skelegrow instructional ticket. Baskets: 3 come out of the rain crate when you unlock it. Hats: 2 come out of the fog crate when you unlock it. Skeleton: same as mushrooms, you can retrieve it once you’ve placed the skelegrow instructional ticket in the chalkboard. After you have acquired all the objects place them down according to the paper on the pinboard near the register. You’ll see those symbols around the stir. Don’t forget to check upstairs. Once you’ve placed every item a jingle will happen.

Chalkboard Chest: After completing all the chores, the chest near the chalkboard will open revealing a key for the display case upstairs. Use it upstairs and press on the ring to collect it. It will appear on the big door in the room of requirement,(the fire room).

ROOM OF REQUIREMENT

Time turner: If you try and go down the corridor near the clock a bunch of crates will fall down blocking the path. You can check your magical items sheet you got from the chest in B&B to see what to do exactly. The clock time is 8:15, (the small clock by the crates), and the code is 858. The clock will make some noise and the crates will fly back up.

The Gate: You are faced with a two-step gate. You can clearly see there is no keyhole on the padlock. First step is to drag the shapes that are along the bottom row of the gate to match the small shapes within the actual gate at eye level. Once doing that you’ll hear a jingle and a keyhole will appear on the padlock. Now there is a spot light right above the gate pointing at a key just stuck there. Opposite the key is a painting of looks to be B&B. You can look at your magical item notes one last time to read about the two-way paintings. After reading go back to the first section of the room of requirement and grab the candle on the shelf near the potion ingredients. Go back to B&B and grab the staff near the cauldron. Now go to the painting with the curtain over it and burn it at the corner with the candle. After that you’ll hear a jingle and the thing will burn. You’ll then see the same view from the other painting, but directly at the key this time. Stick the pole into the painting and go back to the room of requirement. You’ll see the pole has come out this side and has hooked the key and pushed it out farther away. Now grab the pole back and the key will fall down. Grab the key and place it in the lock.

Small Store front model: Press the valve to open the model. The arrow will be pointing to a rain cloud. Use the watering can on top of the shelf to your left and place it over the model. It will starting pouring water. Go back to B&B and see that it is now raining outside. Now grab that note you got from completing the decrees and read the top photos. Puddles • paper balls • birds. 126. Go back to the model and put the code in to receive a medallion. Go to the first area of the room of requirement to the crates and place the medallion on the front of the crate with the rain symbol on it. It will open flinging items out at you. Go back to the model and you’ll see it’s changed to a fog icon. Grab the smoker and place it on the model to make fog appear. Use the de-luminator to remove the light from the posts,(like the note says), and go back to B&B. Look outside to see a foggy street with turned off lights. But now you can see numbers in the posts. From left to right it is 264. Enter that into the code lock in the model. You will get a fog medallion. Same think like the rain you place it on the fog crate. It will spit out more items. Grab the sugar and go back ti the model. The icon is now snow. Place the sugar over the model to make it snow. Again, go back to B&B and look outside. It is now snowing with snow everywhere. On the note it says snow piles + swirly glasses. Click the spectrespecs and look outside. There will be 3 very simple algebraic equations. On one of the snow piles it says XYZ. Calculate those equations to get 742. Put that into the model code lock. It will unlock the lock and give you a snow medallion AND the sign post from the front of the store on the model will fall off revealing it’s a key. Grab that. Go to the crates and place the snow medallion onto the crates front. It will spit out more things.

Hewey Decimal System lift: you’ll see a shaft, a ripped up piece of paper and a 3 code lock. Look at the ripped up piece of paper to see a code is underlined. Put in that code and press enter to call down that lift. It will show a bunch of books and a key. Grab the key. It says “desk key”. Place it in the desk. You will get a crossbow. Use the crossbow on the 4 targets scattered around the room of requirement. 1 right near the lift,(crouch down), 2 near the clock and 1 near the model. After that a chest will unlock near the model revealing the de-luminator. After you place the rain medallion another piece will shoot out. Place it on the paper and enter that underlined code. You will get a diary entry. Save that for later. After you place the fog medallion you’ll get a a 3rd piece. Place it on the ripped paper and enter that code. You’ll get 3 instructional potion tickets used for the chalkboard. After placing the snow medallion you’ll get the last piece. This has the code for “Art Metalwork”. After entering the code you’ll see in the lift is one of the horcruxes; the diadem. Click it to get it. It will appear on the shelf on the big door in the room of requirement.

Silver key: Read the diary entry from the lift carefully. Go to the map of hogwarts in the upstairs part of B&B. It says on the bottom “22:00-6:53” click all the locations that are mentioned in the diary in order from 22:00/10:00pm-6:53am. (Station, whomping willow, shack, hogsmeade, quidditch, lake, forest, hogwarts, Hagrid). It will give you the silver key.

KEYS

Bronze key: You get it once you open the snow crate

Gold key: After placing all 7 pumpkins on the shelf certain pumpkins will be lit. Go to the room of requirement and click the candles on the shelf in the right pattern as the pumpkins and the wall will flip revealing the pumpkins from B&B. Go back to B&B to see that the wall from the room of requirement has flipped to show here, and below is the gold key.

Black key: Scattered around the puzzles you’ll find colored letters. Blue R on the letter in the coal crate, yellow P on the newspaper, green H in the botany section of the lift, orange R in the finance section of the lift and a red A once you use the store sign key for the chest in B&B. If you look at the inscription on the crate in the gate section it says; a-0 b-1 c-2 … I-8 J-9 K-0 L-1 and so on. Using that code, and the colored dials on the chest near the potion ingredients you can enter the code; 70775. It will reveal the black key.

Big door: Using all 4 keys on the door and collecting both horcruxes you can enter/exit the door. Once entering you’ll teleport inside and be prompted to throw the horcruxes into the fire destroying them. After doing that you’ll be teleported to the finish room!

Can you please be more specific about which places I need to press & in what order for the Hogwarts map? I've tried every possible combination I could think of and it will still not unlock.

After solving all the puzzles. The key doesn't pop up for the ring. I've done this mission 3 times now.

This is a great room! Difficult but fair for the most part! I didn't notice the yellow P on the newspaper and couldn't find the coal crate with the blue letter. Also the map puzzle was a little confusing having to go backwards

I played Co-op with a friend and the key did not pop up too after finishing the chalk board...very dissapointing after playing 2h+ .

Spectrespecs didn't work, compared to videos I seen. When I put them on they stayed on forever, and didn't let you see any figures or symbols in the mirror things. Decree thing didnt work because of this because couldn't close the top three decrees. Little annoying when you spent so long playing, going through several stages in the room of requirement, just to find out the game ♥♥♥♥♥♥ you from the very start

This glitch happens when you press anything too fast… unfortunately you must have pressed the glasses twice super fast hence breaking the activators. Sorry that happened to you! If you ever think something is broken or not correct always try restarting the room! It usually fixes most bugs I physically cannot fix.

Rather than just spoiling the cabinet lock code, can you give a hint about how to figure it out? I figured it out after posting, but a hint would have been nicer.

Does anyone else have issues with the scarecrow glitching? My friend and I were playing and couldn't get it off the cabinet. I've never had this many bugs with any of your other rooms, but this one also seems to have a lot of moving parts behind the scene. Hopefully the next installment will be smoother. I have downloaded literally all of your rooms mostly because of the awesome hint systems.
