Balancing Crew Speed with Large Rooms
The larger rooms still have the 50% debuff for move speed. They have more area for crew to be meandering in than the vanilla rooms, so they will always be more inefficient then vanilla. I think a scaling modifier to the room speed based on the size is the best way to go about fixing this, where the 3x3 and the 4x4 have (completely arbitrary and probably imbalanced) 40% and 25% debuffs respectively.

Another option would be limiting where the crew can walk in the room itself, which would have the benefit of keeping them to one side but the detriment of limiting the door connection points to one side. I don't know if that's something you are okay with or not, so this is a lower option than the other in my book.

Thanks for the feedback, will check if there is a way to modify the speed values to be more accurate.

The 15th Dec Update added the following;

Adjust movement speed for 3x3, 4x3 and 4x4.

Hopefully this addresses the above issue, but we should keep an eye on the values and see how balanced they are ...
