[RH2] Faction: V.O.I.D.
Need help removing the V.O.I.D Faction in game
Hey, so I'm personally mostly only interested by the various monsters and implants this mod adds and not at all interested in dealing with the actual human V.O.I.D faction and I've been trying to remove them when generating a world by setting it so the faction doesn't get any bases, however despite this and the fact that there is in fact no base to speak of, the faction itself still remains somehow and appears in the faction tab and can even interact via quests and the such which I don't want.

So next thing I tried was using cherry picker and attempting to remove anything related to the faction itself while keeping their equipment enabled to be found randomly via various means and while it seemed to initially work as there was no longer an option to generate any of the V.O.I.D bases on world start.. upon loading in the game the faction yet still remained in the faction tab..

So now I'm asking if anyone could perhaps help me and give me some insight on how I could totally remove the faction, something as simple as a dev mode command that I didn't know about to "destroy" the faction would be more than enough and very much appreciated.

Having the same issue, looking for a fix as well. It might just be that perhaps you CAN'T have the mod installed without the faction, only issue is this didn't happen in 1.4 so perhaps it's a mod we might have??? (atleast it didn't happen for me in 1.4)

Hey, If you use Rimpy you could upload your mod list to rentry and send the link here, then I can check what mods we have in common and test things out without the mods we have in common enabled so we can try and figure out if it really is a mod we may have that's causing this.

Unfortunately I don't use rimpy, but I can make a list :D. I don't mind spending a few minutes just listing out my mods if that works for you?

So, update, I've attempted to disable every mod we have in common except obvious ones like the void faction itself, hugslib and the such and the problem still seemed to persist to matter that I tried so perhaps it really is with the void mod itself... the only idea i can figure out to get rid of void is to start the game with the actual faction with bases, go dev mode, destroy all but one void faction base then spawn and use a teleporter item from the mod called: VFE Insectoids Equipment and immediately transport one pawn to their last base, defog the whole map and use the kill command to kill every enemies in the map to trigger the whole "faction is defeated because it was their last settlement", spawn another teleporter and re-teleporter your pawn back to your base and play as if nothing happened.. Now granted this is a bit tedious and I have no played through the game long enough to confidently say if it actually works as it should but so far that's all I've been able to come up with sadly.

Yeah, I actually ended up TRYING that at one point and they still exist afterwards. I destroyed their last base after just removing all their bases (but one which I destroyed with one of my pawns) and somehow they still existed, which I personally think MIGHT be cause of the faction interaction mods I have installed. It's kinda cool though knowing remnants of them still exist and come back, it's just a little annoying cause at times I'm tryna do some stuff and they intervene and cause lots of issues for my playthrough. I do love the mod though, it is truly a dope mod, probably one of my favorites in the modlist I made.

I believe you're right about it just being VOID, I have multiple faction mods and if I disable said factions I don't have this issue, so..I am nearly 100% sure you're right.
