Hello fellow appreciators of Gwens wonderful mod and sangephages in general!
This discussion is for the placement of ideas for sangaphage abilities!
Be nice, try to keep abilities sangophage relevant.
Understand that even if Gwen sees your suggestion it might either be unfeasible, not fitting or Gwen might just be busy with other things. If you don't want to wait and hope they see it, commission it or learn enough about modding to make it yourself.
Spelling sangiphage correctly is bad.

- Hemo Celer -> A sangouphage can unlock faster speed by strengthening leg muscles. I get they can longjump however consider the following: speed speed speed.
- Walter White -> A sangaphage can crystalise blood into a drug. This will have no downsides whatsoever.
- Enthrall -> Similar to Walter White but the drug is like luciferium and creates obsessively positive opinion for the sangauphage. Could be used for mechanics similar to ghouls needing blood top-ups from their vampire masters, and creating levels of vampires. Only cure for it is to yourself become a sangephage.
- Corpse Pilot -> The sangeighphage can temporarily engage in necromancy. Their blood envelops the corpse's joints and act as muscles piloting the corpse to defend the sangehphage.
- Blood Angel -> The sangayphage can grow hemogen wings and fly. This rapidly burns through hemogen.
- Armour -> The sangophage can harden skin or toughen flesh to give itself an armour boost.
- Scream of war -> Calls a random ally to fight for you if under attack or makes every animal on the map go manhunter, lowers all colonist moods cos it sounds awful.
- Propogation Enhancement -> increased odds of making baby, for the Sangouiphage can use hemogen to [CENSORED]

Restore- Heal all damage at the cost of hemogen
Regenerate- Regrow all limbs at the cost of hemogen (perhaps it ignores archotech and fleshcrafted limbs)
Conceal- Become invisible, burns through hemogen
Rend- Temporarily grow sharp, armor-piercing talons
Hail of spines- shoot piercing spines in all directions
Conjure storm- Use latent psychic power to create a rainy thunderstorm
Subdue- Instantly render pawn unconscious, similar to anesthesia
Reanimate- Revive dead sanguophage at the cost of one willing sacrifice

these are neat! not sure how many i'd be able to make with xml only but i'll keep them in mind.

Blood Steel: The Sangouiphage can bond hemogen to the iron in their blood to produce Blood Steel, which is just steel but idk worse durability better sharpness for example.
Maybe they could have an easier time than regular people making it into weapons, though based on a lot of playing mods I'm not sure that one is possible without cooking up whole new workbenches and other pains.
The sole reason to add this is that a base and weapons made of blood would be metal af.

A simple one that would be neat and nice would be "Metabolize" -> consume X hemogen to get X Hunger, iv always felt odd about the fact theres no way to use your hemogen bar as a "food source"
There is an idea to add an autocast option to the abilities used on oneself. For example, I told a scientist to cast the acceleration of research for himself every 11 hours and not remember about it, just so that you can set a minimum threshold so that hemogen does not fall below this value during automatic casting

К примеру ученому выставил, чтобы он каждые 11 часов на себя кастовал ускорение исследований и не вспоминаешь о нем, только чтобы можно было выставить минимальный порог, чтобы ниже этого значения гемоген не опускался при автоматическом касте
