If you want a strip downed version of the mod, follow this guide & create a copy of the mod folder in your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Victoria 3/mod/ folder. delete everything but the essential files marked here in the following image, and then make sure you switch the version of Lotus in your playset to your custom version.

you can figure out what conflicts specifically in whatever mod you are using & keep whatever else; most folders here in Lotus files are either generic bug fixes or for files related to the map changes
