Suggestion for creating a mod that automatically sets a queue of work per colonist for optimal distribution workplaces
Hi @Mlie! I am trying to find a mod that can do the same thing.
https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2F4a4hy0mdu0ec1.jpeg

TL:DR: When I put workplaces for mine or cutting trees, the first appropriate colonist who finds a job will get some part of the work (occupy several tiles appropriate to the schedule, his skills) and he will try to do it using standard queue functional

I noticed that my builder can occupy several tiles to bring resources to all those. But when resources are already there, my 9 builders will walk through my huge map (325) to the other corner to build 9 tiles and return to other tasks. The same occurs with mining, farming, deconstructing, etc.

The mod may function once a work task has been selected. Following that, we need to inspect adjacent tiles for similar tasks and add all of them to the pawn actions queue, prioritizing based on the time required for the work to be completed, which is determined by the pawn's skill level. The quantity of work can be adjusted according to the pawn's schedule. For instance, if I set the work schedule for 4 hours, then the amount of work should be aligned with the distance to the work location and the estimated time it will take to complete the tasks.

So may I ask to create the described mod? I think it'll be relevant to all players

This is not even close related to the "Time Control" mod, I suggest joining the Discord for requesting mods, or joining the Rimworld community Discord for that.
