Also I moved it up a little earlier in the load order.
I did some testing with brand new sandbox files and having AI companions disabled didn't cause a crash for 2+ years of in game time. AI companions at 100% caused a crash within a month repeatedly.
Saving shortly before a crash, the crash will happen every time with consistency, so it's a specific *something* that is happening causing the crash.
This crash happens with and without any other mods, I disabled all my other mods for the testing once I isolated which was causing it.
--Done. Games that have previously-generated AI companions might have problems, but no new ones will be made...

If we care about the companion limit, how many extra starting slots do we get?

The mod's new settings file is located in the workshop folder, and has the unused settings removed.
When multiple parties are participating it's a lot more annoying to distinguish which agent belongs to which party. It's something I'm aware of, but haven't gotten around to fixing yet haha
Is there a way to verify that this mod is working in my save? I tried using the debug command, but it's coming up as unknown command. But I'm not sure if it would do that because of not working or because I don't have cheat mode enabled. I've been trying to get some Gallant Sword Sisters to companion-up but while once or twice I thought I'd gotten them to the requirements, it didn't proc.
