SOLVED [Bug] Constantly switching music (multi colony)
When you have more then 1 colony, and if in the second colony is a raid of some sort then the music starts switching from one to another track every so many seconds until that raid is gone or defeated.

Since i use my second colony just as a waste dump and never deal with any raids there this bug is unforunatly requiering me to deal with them

This should be fixed with the latest framework update, Try resubscribing and seeing if the problem persists; if so I'll poke around with it. Steam's not great at keeping things up to date

(That is, resubscribe to Music Expanded Framework, Core is basically just defs and audio)

last update was on 24. ive installed the mod for the first time on 26 (yesterday). I should have the latest version, i will resubscribe anyway to try if that fixes it. Thanks for the response (:

Just installed the mod for the first time today, can confirm the same is happening to me. I actually only have one colony, although this one isn't my first (had to abandon a base).

The issue is also still present to me. Interestingly i also abandoned a colony, but that was before i had the mod in use

Interesting interesting. I'll poke around today and see if I can get it to happen. might not be related to multi colonies. ideally the code doesn't care much about maps except for biome-specific stuff.

What i could do for you is to send you a save when this happens again, but you would have to have all the mods i use which are 41. 2 of them being mayor (CE and Rimworld of Magic) all the other more nice to haves like Visual Improvements, the Quarry mod - such stuff

Alrighty! Discovered the problem after some digging, and this should now be resolved, update Framework mod and you should be good to go.

I am having a similar bug.
It seems to occur whenever "Vanilla Music Update" is ticked and a playlist from this mod is enabled, such as Glitterworld, Medieval, or Neolithic. I don't think this is intentional.
Seems to occur during raids.

:thinking: Oh, you're absolutely right that will be an issue. Same thing that was fixed, but on the other setting. Vanilla logic is probably still going to attempt to play a tense song, and we have none defined. I'll have to go through and mark some as tense for vanilla logic to do things properly.

I have same issue. Only 1 colony, second was never created
