Bug Reports
This is a centralized topic to report bugs, since the new topics created don't send you a notification.

If you want us to take a look at your error, we NEED you to submit error logs. It is crucial you provide me with Hugslib logs - we are not interested in comments ‘X doesn’t work because Y’, and we will not reply to those, even delete them if they hide proper bug reporting. Hugslib logs are what tells us, devs, what went wrong, and what mods you were using.

IF YOU DON'T POST A HUGSLIB LOG, YOUR REPORT WILL BE DELETED FROM NOW ON TO AVOID CLUTTER.

To get hugslib logs, make sure you have a Hugslib mod running, then press CTRL-F12 while in game and copy the link to us.

If Hugslib is not an option:

Note that you can find your logs at \steamapps\common\RimWorld\RimWorldWin64_Data\output_log.txt and you can share it with me by uploading it to https://pastebin.com

Unsure if it counts as a bug per se, but the description for 'Tox vulnerability' is "They'll gain half as much amount of toxic buildup compared to others."
I imagine it was meant to say "They'll gain an additional half as much toxic buildup compared to others" or something similar and got cut up while copying the default descriptor for 'Tox resistance' over.

Just thought i'd make you aware if no one else had mentioned it yet.
(Unless it is correct and I just can't read :inno:)

I noticed a few errors when loading up Rimworld after adding Alpha Genes. The log seems to be showing them related to the mod. Current game still seems to run fine, though.

Those seem to be part of another mod

I think I may have found a very small bug. For some reason the accelerated gestation Xenogene has a gene conflict with the base game fertile gene. Was this an intentional design decision for balance reasons or an oversight?
Sarg Bjornson  [developer] 22 Nov, 2022 @ 10:55am
Intentional... more or less ;) It needs to conflict with Infertile
VisarchOfApollo 22 Nov, 2022 @ 11:37am
I see, I guess I should have known given that both fertile and infertile work off of altering the fertility stat. Is the problem that giving slow/fast gestation to a colonist with infertile would re-enable their ability to reproduce?

Precisely!

It doesn't look like a mod incompatibility, but rather just a bug of the comp itself. I'll make them non-stackable

hello, the heads of helixan and animusen are not rendering correctly with my modlist (pawns appear with normal human heads), maybe an incompatibility issue with NL facial animations? https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/62d1bb30ef02ed23eef8f464f3341338

Hey sarg, 2 things to report so far, one minor, a double space in the vicious uv sensitivity description, and another where my wretch has malformed wing overwriting bat wings, but can still use the jump ability.

For the metal-eating meme, the children cannot seem to eat, and colonists cannot feed them metal since it isn't "food", I've tried baby food but the food meter just raises then drops within a second making them starve constantly.
