Help with settings
Hi,

Sorry, but I can't find the settings option anywhere. Would it be possible to add a screenshot of exactly where I should look for the setting option?

Thank you

That looks like steam didn't download the mod for you. Unsubscribing and resubscribing, or restarting can fix that. The default path steam should download the mod to is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2891975564. That folder should contain another 5 folders and files inside each of them. Make sure you actually enabled the mod within your mod manager of choice too

I had the same problem, I don’t know how on the licensed one, but if you have a pirate, you just need to update the version to 1.4.3558

I downloaded the mod from steam 3 times (I always deleted the original mod from the folder and downloaded it again via RimPy). I'm using the GOG version (1.4.3555). I will try to reinstall the whole game in a week, it is possible that the game update itself failed.

if your having trouble finding the settings you should try the latest version of 1.4 it should show up then.

Having a first look right now and I found something curious:
Certain factions which are made up entirely of one Xenotype (Yttakin Raiders, Neanderthal Tribes or Pig Outlander unions) have their chance for the respective type set to 99900% and the chance for baseliners to -99800%.
All other types have an expacted chance of 0%.

Does anyone know why it uses these weird values instead of 100% for the faction xenotype and 0% for everything else?

Those numbers are set that way within vanilla xml files. Having 100 or 99999% doesn't make any difference and sliders within this mod don't go beyond 100% for that reason, but ludeon devs happened to choose this for those specific factions

So anything above 100% will always be read as 100% and anything below 0% will always be read as 0%.
Good to know, thanks.
can you add someway to quickly add all xenos to all factions? like a single button :munchies:
nevermind....i figured it out....changing basekind to 2% adds everyone
