Also for not having aforementioned multiplayer support, it actually seems to work fine after getting it properly settled in so I'm not entirely sure why they're saying it doesn't work with multiplayer.
From the solution me and my friends figured out it mostly involved installing it, booting with the mod, then checking if it can generate a world with no issue. If issues arise the solution was reinstalling the mod and then booting again. After that I'd often host the server and while loading in it would basically get everything ready after maybe 1-2 minutes of waiting (Dependant on other mods you may have installed. We run Thorium, Calamity, and a few other things along with it.). After that it would display that connecting to the server failed. They'd then rejoin and everything worked completely fine.
Hopefully this helps somewhat.
As of recently the fix me and my friends did for it no longer works sadly. We ended up abandoning our play-through and just shaving down our mod pack. As for single player I'm unsure as of currently since I no longer am using the mod myself. A critical issue that popped up at one point was involving the SOTS mod which has some form of issue with a certain sprite that would either crash the game on load or break the game when opening a chest.
