According to Exodus, lighting cannot be changed via texture packs. You would have to change the entire color palette in order to change the color of the lighting (as far as I can tell.) However, I still suggest trying. The downside of getting something like this working would be the lighting for other items changing as well.
honestly my question is would people rather there was no glow at all as that is also possible by making the mask 100% transparent
