the shapeshifter no longer works
The shapeshifter now has normal skin, albeit this is difficult to explain. He can still remove their skin, but it happens instantly and just kills the other person; there is no visual of acid, and the humans only lay there for a short while before vanishing. Did the shapeshifter's blood always turn yellow, too?
