i'm sure im not alone with this weird feeling, could just be the source engine doing its thing but I must admit this map has a little extra to it.
the hidden construct just feels like a failed experiment left to decay, maybe something happened over there that we aren't supposed to find out? I did notice a combine room and that bunker section so who knows.

another thing with construct is how enclosed it is, those giant walls that surround you with nothing but a horizon of buildings to look at, or in this map's case - hills. looking around you can find parking lots with seemingly no roads attached, yet there are vehicles parked up without any means of actually accessing it.

or its just a sandbox map on a sandbox game

is the shadow room and the light room both spooky horror rooms by modern standards

So, i think what happened is that the old map was destroyed by something. (players, minges, some other cause) or it was just unusable, so it was buried and forgotten. Then another construct was built to see if this one could survive.
