Report a translation problem
I have tried making them military and assigning the picks as part of their uniform.
They pick them up when given an order but drop them again immediately when set to no order.
The picks are not forbidden, they have the mining labour enabled.
And now I am getting equipment mismatch trying to get any of them to use picks or axes in a brand new embark. They won't chop trees with battle axes. They won't mine with picks. They just stand around in 'no job' with the equipment sitting in the cart.
This seems to have resolved itself after closing and reopening the game and starting a new fortress.
Are they going to be mad at me for this?
Maybe closing and reopening will fix this one too.

not sure if those are causing the crash, but thought it would be worth reporting.
From the looks of it, you have combined it with another big mod, which is most likely hugely conflicting with my mod, specially considering LIKES_FIGHTING is in it. (that tag was removed in this update).

- The stone bed recipe added by this mod has no "set details" button (e.g., the one that lets you choose what specific material that job order will use).
- The extractor workshop blueprint/shadow thing (the semi-transparent image that displays when choosing a location) seems to be misaligned. When you place it down, the actual building is placed one tile northward. So blueprint is displaying one tile further southward than it should be.
- Speaking of workshops, I noticed none of them have tooltips. So as a new player I have to temporarily leave the game to first find the bay12forum thread for this mod, and then find the actual description for what the workshop does. Which really interrupts the flow of gameplay. More a quality-of-life thing than an actual bug though.
- Sadly for custom reactions like making custom beds, we cant choose details, been like that for a long time in DF.
- Yup i learned of this issue earlier today and that texture will be fixed for next update.
- I also have plans on adding tooltips as well for the new ones.
Do you have Mechanics? Thats the skill required for making the arcane bars.
