Bug Fix Sleep & Unconscious Loop
Description
I have already updated the mod and removed the following [NO_SLEEP] and [NOEXERT] properties that were resulting in Druchii being stuck in a sleep loop.

See below two separate methods that you can try to get the mod to work.

Mod Update Method
This method tries to preserve your world save so as you don't lose your progress.

NOTE: This is not a guaranteed fix to get your pawns unstuck but if you're desperate to save your world then it may be worth a shot.
  1. Go into your steam library ensure that "Dwarf Fortress" is fully synced and up to date
  2. Run the game and check the mods section. You should have two "Druchii Race" references, the installed mod and the latest fixed version
  3. Create a new world and install the latest "Druchii mod". check the mod description for installation steps *Check latest version number below
  4. Once the world is created and the mod is installed, exit the game
  5. OPTIONAL: Go into your steam library and right click "Dwarf Fortress" Click Properties => Local Files => Browse
  6. OPTIONAL: Go into data then installed_mods and double check you have two "DruchiiRace" folders. One should be the old version and the other should be the new one
  7. Once checked you should now be able to run the game and open your save
  8. You will then be prompted to click Update . Wait for the game to update and load all the required files
  9. Once loaded into your game, make sure to SAVE to ensure your world is fully updated to new mod version
  10. Now you can quit the game and go back into your Dwarf Fortress directory
  11. Within the mods directory find the folder with the ID:2902505109 (There should be two). Delete the one with the lower version number
  12. Do the same in the data and installed_mods folder
  13. Now load up your save and hopefully wait for your Druchii to wake up

Clean Install Method
RECOMMENDED: This method resolves all current and future issues regarding the bug but requires deletion of your world and a fresh install
  1. Go into your steam library and right click "Dwarf Fortress"
  2. Click Properties => Local Files => Browse
  3. Within the mods directory, find and delete the folder with the ID:2902505109
  4. Next go into data then installed_mods and delete the DruchiiRace folder
  5. Following these steps, you should now be able to run the game and reinstall the current working mod *Check latest version number below

Further Troubleshooting
The following will only work if you have at least one Druchii still awake.

Regarding the first method, if after a few minutes and your Druchii are still not moving. Try digging the floor above them so it has no support. This will cause a floor or cavern collapse on them, resetting their state and waking them up. If you don't have a pawn that is awake then you will have to move on to step two

Latest Mod Version

Druchii Race V8 70.08

NOTE: Please ensure you are running the above latest mod version to avoid any further issues regarding the sleep bug

Fresh install/game and 1st sleep cycle im in a endless loop
Can confirm as well:
Verified the game files. Deleted all previous worlds, saves and mods. The only mod installed is this race mod. First sleep starts the unconscious loop consistently and without fail. The game says I am running v7 70.07 of the mod.

Edit: I am honestly very confused as to what is happening. Legendary version of this mod works just fine, yet this one isn't. Is it because Legendary Druchii just don't need to sleep or something?

Updated to V8. I reset [MAXAGE] and [NO_SLEEP] tags to potentially fix the sleep bug

I know that age and size directly correlate ie. the longer a creature lives the larger they become. In addition, larger creatures such as dragons need longer sleep.

I would remove the [MAXAGE] tag altogether and make them immortal but this prevents intelligent creatures from pursuing necromancy

Removed paralyse, pain and dizziness status effects that might also be causing conflicts where those status effects may cause the Druchii to be stuck in one state.

Other than that I don't know what else could potentially fix it apart from removing sleep altogether

V8 fixed the bug, at least for me personally. They are sleeping properly and wake up just fine and healthy without any side-effects so far! Thank you very much for your work!
