Temp fix for lag issue
Every other comment is about the lag, which is reasonable especially with how in depth and resource intense this mod is. The way I found to temporarily alleviate the lag is to:
- Press backspace to bring up debug menu
- Click "Clear all NPC's" in the top middle.

Again, it's only temporary, and as you go further the npcs will pile up and it will get laggy. Keep in mind this mod is *free*, and while (at the time) production has unfortunately ceased, understand that the dev's were not being paid for this, so bugs and annoyances like are totally normal.

Hope this helps!

Edit: as of 06/18/24, this breaks AI, so it should only be used if you're finishing a run and want to smooth things out. Hopefully it gets fixed in the future, and some of the dev's are working on it again Yay! :D. The best way to fix the issue is go back to the Mors main menu and restarting a run, unfortunately

Fortunately a couple devs resumed development, but unfortunately the "clear all NPCs" button is now bugged and every newly generated NPC after using it will have no AI and go limp. I'll bring it up in the Discord.

the lag is most likely because of large portions of the map rendering infron't of you, this leads to large lag spikes as well as lag from items loading in. and yes, your PC specs do affect how long these lag spikes last and how much lag is received that isn't a part of map loading.
