I updated this mod, the portraits mod that goes with it, too.
It no longer crashes. The graphics no longer display weapons that aren't there.
Added positions and a huge amount of other fixes.
Now Playable.
Caravans come with giant spiders/giant rats, too.

If you're using the whole modpack, load any order, just make sure Aeramore is last.
