@Methking I love this mod. Really amazing work you've done. So I hesitate to criticize anything. However, whilst I understand the reason for making all Empire factions red, it also makes the campaign and battles difficult and confusing. I'd humbly recommend adding in colour variation again. Many thanks for your work.

I went ahead and started campaign with bunch of mods - this one included and to be honest I am quite disappointed with the troop overhaul to the point of considering restarting campaign on vanilla troops :/
Heres some feedback:
Lets start with the good
-Generally i like the concept of the overhaul and the units look good,
-Im the most satisfied with the bandits overhaul as it actually does improve early game alot.
-Armies are very diverse and fights look alot more interesting.
-Aserai actually looks great, probably best reworked tree.

Now for the bad part
-No faction is actualy a jack of trade, for example Fian Champion is known for being undisputed best archer in the game, however with this mod you have Aserai and Vladian archers with exact same bow, arrows and archery level.
-Vlandia seems so overtuned as their noble cavalry is insane and so tanky, their units got best crossbow, archer on par with Fian and very good infantry. Access to every T5 type in the game.
-Empire on the other hand, lost their cavalry and is stuck with T3 cav at best and there is no palestine guard meaning there is no T5 cav or T5 archer, basically only infantry is great.
-Battania got absolutely obliterated in the campaign, possibly because their Fians dont even stand out anymore and all other units are attrocious.

Thank you for your feedback - I don't like to compare the mod to the vanilla concept or the current state, I think vanilla is broken asf atm - in the standard ranged troops have no range, vanilla spears with throwing properties cannot be thrown by the AI and much more. we encountered so many bugs during development and testing, so we put bug fixes and features into the mod that weren't even planned. I'm always excited about feedback and ideas and I'll definitely use yours for further developments and changes.

I agree with Captain Vadovitz and a few others in the comments on the stat front. Having literally all the top tier archers, both normal and elite, have the exact same stats is very strange. It takes away from choices you would potentially need to make while in game. Like can I afford these machine gun fians or do I need to downgrade to normal archers? With this mod it doesn't matter pick your favorite flavor and never look back. That also feeds into the other portions where yeah the different factions all look so much more varied they all feel the same because the stats and the fact that their trees cover everything.

Other than those complaints I have to say that everything else blows my socks off.
Archers that actually fight from range? Game changing.
Armies that aren't essentially attack of the clones? Sign me the ♥♥♥♥ up.
Bandits that actually make sense? Winner right here.
Everything else is absolutely wonderful, you and whoever else is working on this got a lot of good things going for you. Just do some light housekeeping and then it will be something everyone should use once they get done with Vanilla.

I've decided to try this cool overhaul mod and after about 5 in-game years Vladia is controlling like 1/5 of the map and destroying everyone, Battania is as good as destroyed, Sturgia is doing stuff and imperials are getting steamrolled by everyone.

And while this overhaul looks very good(especially bandit, want them as seperate mod tbh), as some people wrote, balance is quite lacking so I guess i have to try other mods : (

I would like to see different-colored armies not composed of single-colored clones. Will you add the ability to change colors for individual clans? Unfortunately, all armies look like a uniformed army from the 21st century. It ruins the immersion terribly.

As in PoC mod.

Can we have RBM compatible add-ons of some sort? Really enjoyed the overhaul, but the archer doesn't use the correct arrow, so their shoot is very inaccurate. Just had a battle where the archers didn't even hit a shield for 5 minutes straight.
