why isn't there a command or option to turn it off?
Some might say, "You should just upgrade your PC to make it playable," but not everyone has the financial means to do so, especially those living in countries with less valuable currencies than USD.
hopefully the Arc9 devs will do some QoL and manage to optimize things a lot
EDIT: maybe i can use ArcCW, see if it isn't as laggy
This also happens when shooting into the sky. Still, I hope that the developer optimizes his addon sufficiently.
Thank you for your solution to this problem. Unfortunately, I can't test it, my computer is dead.

Since you said that by disabling any ARC9 muzzleflash addon will mostly solve the lag issue, I tried the same with the addon above and did some playtesting. It turns out that you're kinda right, the game doesn't lag as much when firing, but I need further playtesting to confirm this.
EDIT: After additional playtesting, even with the aforementioned addon being disabled, the game still lags when firing full-auto guns.
For me it lags even worse with Gunsmith Reloaded and PolyArms weapons tbh
i had upgraded with a i7-3770K and a actual GPU, a 1660 Ti and it still kills my frames in some maps
