Garry's Mod

Garry's Mod

ARC9 Weapon Base
Anthrax2003 23 Jul, 2024 @ 8:32pm
Replying to the update as of July 22, 2024
Author's Changelog:
-------------------------------------
Added new crazy warning panel that notifies about: too many addons (not sure if this warning is working though :/), too low tickrate (only for admins), outdated directX
Added performance warning in settings if you running on 32bit without multicore stuff

Accidently deleted particle added back
Tracer related changes
-------------------------------------
I tested your warning... And I got confused about the warning because I have DirectX 12 on my PC and my PC still supports DirectX 9.0c, 10 and 11... And I clicked on the Solution for more info, I just got a screamer from the HL2 Stalker... For those who have ARC9 Weapon Base, Just a heads up for the Screamer or Uninstall this addon...

bro you have to read, not click

you have explanation what to do on that panel: "Solution: Go to Garry's Mod's launch options and insert "-dxlevel 95" into the launch parameters. If "-dxlevel 70/80/85" is listed there, remove it."

Yes... But, The last 3 words were cut off due to some display issue or somethin' like that?
Anthrax2003 23 Jul, 2024 @ 9:19pm
I mean, I did all that putting "-dxlevel95" into the launch options
Anthrax2003 23 Jul, 2024 @ 9:19pm
And the warning still shows up... :/
Darsu  [developer] 23 Jul, 2024 @ 9:21pm
-dxlevel 95
NOT "-dxlevel95"
seperated with space
Anthrax2003 23 Jul, 2024 @ 9:45pm
Sorry... I meant -dxlevel 95, sorry for the Typo
Anthrax2003 23 Jul, 2024 @ 9:46pm
I did just that by putting -dxlevel 95 in the launch options
Anthrax2003 23 Jul, 2024 @ 9:49pm
This is what I have in my Launch Options ---> +exec autoexec.cfg -dxlevel 95

Should be fine, launch game and check problems in main menu first (bottom right corner), it may have warning about directx
Anthrax2003 24 Jul, 2024 @ 12:23pm
I did check on problems in main menu and showed absolutely NOTHING about DirectX
Darsu  [developer] 24 Jul, 2024 @ 12:28pm
load in game and type in console
sv_allowcslua 1; lua_run_cl( print( render.GetDXLevel() ) )
Anthrax2003 24 Jul, 2024 @ 12:35pm
I did just that and I got this error: LuaCmd:1: syntax error near '<eof>'
