>200 fps on r5 5600 while shooting in singleplayer
Servers are different story, but youre madman if youre running this base in mp
Sounds about right. Mine's an I7 6700k. I had a feeling it wasn't necessarily my GTX 1070, as that GPU kinda holds up even tho it's old... for non 4k at least. While the I7 also holds up, it sure as hell ain't no Ryzen 5 5600!
If the x64 GMod branch also supports more than 8 cores, then HOLY BALLS my CPU is far behind rn lol (still waitin' on my main PC repair. xD)
I'm a bit of a hypochondriac when it comes to making my PC last longer... and I'm only borrowing this one rn! I just tuned throttlestop to run my CPU either at or much closer to regular clock speeds (still disabled turbo)
Like a health obsessed bloke who sees the doctor for every little thing, and when the urgent care is closed, goes to the ER for a micro zit to make sure it isn't a fatal poisonous bite from the global conspiracy of super turbo Illuminati biker elephant man bear pig moo shoe pork cow mcdonald's clown lizards... but to protecc mah cumpewtor!
It runs at a much better framerate now. still drops frames the most, more so than MW2019 which is a good one to compare it to, but it's perfectly playable and I can better enjoy the MW2019 ARC9 version which has dual wielding and camos. niiice! (Not to mention the CSGO ARC9 pack... which also goes to town with Akimbo) :D
and yeah, GMod is CPU heavy, so when it doubt, adjust your CPU as needed. I'm using an Intel i7 6700k CPU, so if you have a AMD Ryzen or a more recent Intel, it's only gonna get better for you.
